I love to use this song when I am writing any type of fiction that involves a romantic scene. The lyrics are inspiring and the melody sets the mood for writing!

Perfect- Ed Sheeran
As always, Ed has a way with words. When I listen to this song it brings out my emotions and I really like to write love scenes with this song as well!

Malibu- Miley Cyrus
When listening to this song I love to write either nostalgic scenes, or when I feel like an epiphany has struck my character. Also good with adventure!

DNA- Lia Marie Johnson
This song really tells a dark story, battling addiction and temptation. I like to listen to this song when I feel a character is dealing with inner turmoil.

Uh-Huh- Julia Michaels
Ironically this is my 'bad-ass bitch' song. When I feel like my female characters are being strong I love to play this. I know the lyrics are different but the chorus just really pumps me up!

Sign of The Times- Harry Styles
When I feel like I am abandoning a character I play this, also when I have a dysfunctional relationship between characters this song helps me focus on capturing the emotions.
