My Pick: Top 10 Oscar Wilde Quotes
Every time I read any of Oscar Wilde's works, I feel like I get a fresh taste of life. Oscar Wilde's writing is always witty, full of daring adventures , and always manages to help me escape my horrid writer's block. I admire his work, but I admire him more because of the person Wilde lived to be. Wilde never lacked wit, and never took life seriously. He was brave in his writing, lyrically writing scandalous texts that eventually led him into prison. He wrote the feelings and the thoughts people of that time were to ashamed to say. Wilde enjoyed satirically berating higher society, and often criticized the men and women for their lack of intelligence. I have always wanted to live like Wilde, I want to be witty, satirical, daring, and unashamed. So here is, my top 10 favorite quotes by Oscar Wilde:

7.) "I like persons better than principles, and I like persons with no principles better than anything else in the world."
